OUR VISION

Exposing God’s Light

Establishing Godly Relationships

Our Ministry vision is a three dimensional mandate:

  • We will endeavor to expose the truth of God’s Word through revelatory teaching and effective preaching;
  • We will tear down the works of darkness that brings about ignorance, blindness and defeat;
  • We will help individuals establish biblical foundations for spiritual obedience and life-long success.

OUR PURPOSE

Perpetuating Kingdom Principles from Generation to Generation

The Word of Life Christian Church ministry (WOLCC-STL) is a God ordained ministry for the city of St. Louis, Missouri and abroad. We are not aligned with any sect, denomination, or organization. We have been inspired to be a church family of men and women of common desire; to perpetuate Kingdom principles from generation to generation. We recognize only one ultimate authority, a loving heavenly Father, manifesting Himself through Christ Jesus our Lord & His Spiritual body, the Church. Our leaders and workers are trusted servants, spiritual sons, & daughters dedicated to serve the ministry vision given to this body.

Word of Life Christian Church was incorporated with the state of Missouri as a “Not-For-Profit” Corporation in March of 1993. A church vision was planted in the heart of Minister Sims while serving under the apostolic leadership of Dr. Elsie & Wilbert Clark. Ministerial training, leadership orientation, and a pursuit for Bible knowledge gradually progressed as an active participant within the Army of The Lord Bible College & Church from 1985-1991.

In the fall of 1992, while encountering a spiritual release and having strong encouragements from his wife, Sunday morning meetings were established in an area residence. This was followed with weekly Bible Study and Corporate Prayer Meetings. As Minister Sims continued to express the conviction of this calling, a nucleus of ministers and believers were formed. Confirmed by an ordination council of established Elders & Pastors from the area, Pastor Sims was officially set in place.
